Path 01
Send In Your Firearm
Send in your complete Glock for frame work, OEM slide milling, or both in one build.
Is this your path?
Yes, if you are sending a complete Glock for frame work, OEM slide milling, or both. If you are sending only a frame or only a slide, start from the page for that instead.
What Shogun can do
On the frame: texturing, borders and undercuts, laser patterns and Shogun branding, depending on the stippling package. On the slide: the Shogun slide design milled into your OEM slide, with an optic cut and Cerakote. The work permanently alters the firearm.
Choose your work
Each is an existing Shogun service. You choose your options on its page, then check out.
-
Frame work
Stippling on your frame, by package. Each package page lists the generations and models it is offered for.
-
OEM slide milling
The Shogun slide design milled into your OEM Glock 19, 17 or 43x slide. An optic cut and Graphite Black Cerakote are included.
-
Both
For a full build, configure the frame work that applies to your firearm and OEM slide milling separately, add both to your cart, and check out once.
Your slide or a Shogun slide
Two different products. Milling works on the slide you send. A Shogun slide is made by Shogun and bought on its own.
Your OEM slide, milled
- Slide
- Your own OEM Glock slide, sent in with your firearm.
- Serrations
- The factory serrations stay. On a 43x the rear serrations remain in full.
- Finish
- Cerakote only. Two-tone finishes are not available on a customer slide.
- Included
- An optic cut of your choice and Graphite Black Cerakote.
Shogun factory slide
- Slide
- Cut by Shogun from its own blank, to its own geometry. Nothing to send in.
- Serrations
- No OEM serrations.
- Finish
- Two-tone finishes are available.
- Included
- A stripped slide with the optic cut you choose. No internal parts are included.
What you choose
-
Optic cut
Chosen on the milling page from the footprints listed there. The RMR cut does not fit the Trijicon RCR: choose the RCR cut for that optic.
-
Cerakote
Milling includes Graphite Black. Another single color or a camo costs extra. On the frame, Cerakote is offered as an option on the stippling packages.
-
Your firearm
Your generation and model, the texture for your frame, and your serial number where the package page asks for it.
Before you order
- Shogun is a Type 07 FFL, so you can ship your firearm directly to Shogun. Shogun does not do transfers or background checks.
- Shogun does not offer stippling for Gen 6 frames.
- Some newer Glock polymer cannot be lasered. See the FAQ for current guidance.
- The work cannot be reversed and may void the factory warranty.

Shipping your firearm
- Order first, and do not ship anything yet. Only customers who have placed an order with Shogun are accepted. Shogun will contact you to confirm your project details and provide shipping instructions before you send anything.
- Shogun prefers that shipments are sent through an FFL.
- Send it bubble-wrapped in an unmarked box, without a case. Do not ship it in its original packaging or in a gun bag of any kind.
- Do not send a handgun through the United States Postal Service.
- Return shipping is free with standard shipping. If you send a case, Shogun charges a $30 return fee. Additional fees apply for expedited or signature-required delivery.
